dance studio in louisiana

POLICIES

ATTENDANCE
Regularity and consistency is an important part of a dancer’s self-discipline. Excessive tardiness and absences can hold back the student as well as the entire class.

CLASS PROCEDURES
Parents, friends, and siblings are not allowed in the dance rooms. Prompt arrival and departure eliminates distractions to all classes. Please make sure students have gone to the bathroom before class as this takes up valuable time. After class, students must remain in building until parents come in the studio. No one is permitted to wait outside the studio. No food or drinks are allowed in the dance rooms. Water only is allowed in dancer’s dance bag.

WAITING ROOM & LOBBY RULES
Parents are allowed to watch their children from the waiting room only. Parents sitting on the dance floor is distracting to the students, takes up valuable dance space, and could contribute to accidents. All dancers must stay in the waiting room until their scheduled class time. Parents are asked to keep students and waiting siblings from aggressive horseplay in the waiting areas. Students should not be performing any gymnastics in the halls or waiting areas. Please be courteous to fellow parents. Our waiting areas can become crowded and a little common courtesy can go a long way.

STAFF & FACULTY CONTACT
Our front desk staff is available during office hours to answer any questions you might have. If you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please call to set up an appointment as we rarely have time between classes. You may also e-mail us at info@shantelsdanceacademy.com.

All private lessons and class time changes must be approved by Mrs. Shantel Robeaux. Please turn in request to our front desk staff member or email request to info@shantelsdanceacademy.com.
